ASUU STRIKE UPDATE

If information reaching our news desk is anything thing to go by then the Academic Staff Union of Universities will soon call off their strike by Monday, 21st August. The striking lecturers came to a sort of consensus with the FG that have accepted to meet with some of their demands. Word is that FG has agreed to pay the #23billion naira salary arrears owed them since 2009. This is still a developing story and we will be sure to keep you updated as it unfolds.
If this strike is actually called off by Monday the 21st, then this is the shortest ASUP indefinite strike in history or is it not...
