After several years of striving for academic excellence while battling with a learning disability she was born with, Hauwa Umar Usman, has emerged one of the best graduating student of her class. The Kano state indigene who studied Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Brighton in England, was born with Dyslexia, which is a disability resulting in difficulty in learning to read or interpret words. The daughter of retired Major-General Umar Tudunwada Usman, a former Army Chief of Transport and Logistics, shares her inspiring story on how she eventually succeeded in school.
